Seldom Silent Enterprises is seeking Associate Team Lead for our Kelowna B.C. division!
This position is mainly an on-call basis with some administrative duties, and while hours are not guaranteed, this job is an excellent way to build experience in the medical/forensic field, as well as funeral industries, coroners offices and emergency services!
Seldom Silent requires that any interested parties understand the need for and maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive. If you are squeamish to bodily fluids or graphic content, this may not be the right employment opportunity for you.
Schedule:
As Associate Team lead you would be required to be on call for shifts of 24hrs/6 days a week.
Requirements for the Job:
- Submission of a clean criminal record check.
- Full Class 5 Drivers license.
- Must be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 150lbs (Lift Test Required prior to hiring).
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
-Experience using Word and Excel on any platform
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and administrative tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working and driving in all weather conditions.
Our company has a responsibility to respond to calls 24/7, 365. Because of this, we require attendants with the ability to respond to calls with urgency and be available for short notice work. Answering your phone and being available when on-call is of the utmost importance!
Duties:
-Body Removal and transportation
- Provide assistance to the manager with any inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Train and supervise team members along side the manager, providing guidance and support as needed
- Help maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
- Answer phone calls and dispatch teams when required in a professional manner
- Maintain a calm and quiet disposition on worksites, managing a “seen and not heard” style of etiquette.
