Orbit Garant Drilling in currently looking for underground diamond driller assistants in the Timmin area.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
Install the drill safely with the driller;
Perform the maintenance of work tools and work surface;

See to the supply of equipment to be used;
Insure proper placement of core samples in boxes;
Manipulate the core sample tubes (place and retrieve);
Monitor all levels regarding to the drill set up;
Assist in the displacement of the drill;
Assist and support the driller for the proper progress of the drilling activities;
Perform all other tasks necessary for the proper progress of the drilling operations.
Profile and Requirements
Have at least 6 months of experience as a Surface or Underground assistant-Not mandatory;
Hold a underground or Surface diamond drilling common core certificate-Notmandatory;
Hold a valid Standard First Aid and CPR card; Beneficial but not Mandatory;
Hold a valid driver’s license; Mandatory;
Clear Criminal record;- Not mandatory;
Good physical capacity and endurance;
Ability to work in a team;
Comfortable and motivated in a productivity environment;
*Work Schedule: 8-4. 5-2, 4-3
