D Squared Construction is seeking a skilled Traffic Controller to join our team! The Traffic Controller will be responsible for directing traffic and ensuring the safety of workers and pedestrians on the job site. Additionally, they may be responsible for utility locating.
Duties
-Set up, manage and remove temporary traffic control schemes/signs
-Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction zones, accidents or other road disruptions, ensuring the safety of emergency response teams, construction workers and the general public
-Handles a Stop/Slow sign, or manage other similar traffic control signs and devices to direct traffic
-Complete site checks and monitor traffic behaviour and/or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
-Take instructions from crew leaders, foremen, amnagers, inspectors, auditors or officials
Candidate must have:
-Knowledge of Book 7
-Valid G license
-Ability to drive pick up track with trailer attached
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
