MyStartr has partnered with Starbucks to host a virtual hiring event on Thursday, June 22, 2023 for Baristas positions in Warman. This hiring event is being conducted through MyStartr's InterviewME Program (Ontario).
Job Application Requirements:
- Must register and be eligible for the InterviewME program https://interviewme.mystartr.ca/signup
- Minimum age: 16 for Baristas
- Are available for a 90-min Interview Prep Workshop on Tuesday, June 20 OR Wednesday, June 21 at 12 pm (have to attend any one of the two sessions)
- Are available for the hiring event starting at 12:00 pm on June 22 (Thursday)
- Availability: morning, day, and/or evening shifts, opening and closing,
Job Title: Barista
This job is for YOU if you have:
· Ability to create a genuine moment of connection with our customers - making a difference in their day by discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication Willingness to learn - using a mix of online learning, classroom training, and hands-on mentorship you’ll learn how to prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, the quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
· Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
· Openness to getting the job done and helping your team in a dynamic retail environment.
· Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
· No previous experience required
This virtual hiring event is being conducted through MyStartr’s InterviewME Program for youth aged 18-30 years old in partnership with Starbucks.
